Norwegian DJ and music producer Alan Walker will perform in Guwahati on April 17, 2025, as part of his WalkerWorld India Tour. The event marks a significant shift in India’s entertainment landscape as international artists begin to recognize emerging markets beyond traditional metropolitan centers.
Walker, known for global hits like “Faded” and “On My Way,” has amassed billions of views on YouTube and secured multiple platinum certifications along with prestigious accolades including an MTV European Music Award and an iHeartRadio Music Award. His distinctive sound blends progressive house, 1990s trance, and melodic dubstep.

The upcoming performance follows Walker’s highly successful 9-city tour in October 2024, which attracted more than 160,000 fans and became the highest-selling international tour in Indian history.
“Alan Walker’s WalkerWorld Tour has completely redefined what’s possible for international artists in India,” said Karan Singh, CEO of Spacebound, the tour’s organizer. “The extraordinary success of bringing Walker to markets traditionally overlooked by global tours proves that world-class entertainment shouldn’t be limited to just metro cities.”
Guwahati’s selection as a tour destination reflects the city’s growing importance in India’s music scene and increasing demand for international performances. Industry experts anticipate the event will provide a substantial boost to local tourism, hospitality, and economic activity.
Tickets for the Guwahati performance will be available starting February 28 on BookMyShow, with prices beginning at ₹999. The event will commence at 4:00 PM on April 17, with attendance open to fans aged 4 years and above. The venue is yet to be announced.
For EDM enthusiasts in Northeast India, this represents an unprecedented opportunity to experience a world-class performance without traveling to larger cities.
