Assam news: Popular artiste Zubin Garg’s financial contribution to the Chief Minister’s Assistance Fund to strengthen the Covid Vaccination drive.
While trying to upgrade the Covid-19 immunization drive, Assam symbol Zubeen Garg has contributed Rupees one lakh to the CM Relief Fund.
The famous artist alongside the delegates of Brindaban Supermart gave the sum.
Taking to Twitter, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma expressed gratitude toward them for this demonstration of altruism.
“In a bid to reinforce the continuous #COVID19 immunization drive, prestigious artist Sri @zubeengarg1along with delegates of Brindaban Supermart contributed Rs 1 lakh to CM Relief Fund. CM Dr @himantabiswathanked them for this demonstration of generosity,” Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted.
In the mean time, the Chief Minister on Thursday last declared one-time monetary help of Rs 2.5 lakh for each lady in the state who has lost her significant other to Covid-19.

CM Sarma said that this monetary help will be given from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
“Coronavirus widows will likewise be qualified for the advantages of the Orunodoi plan and they will get month to month widow annuity under the continuous Indira Miri Universal Widow Pension Scheme,” Himanta Biswa Sarma expressed.
