The bodies of two teenagers, aged 14 and 16, were found hanging from a mango tree on June 13 in Abhayakhunti.
Two teenagers were allegedly raped and murdered in Kokrajhar on the same branch of a mango tree. Police have already identified the culprit and six people have been arrested in connection with the incident. Today, Nisha Chief Minister Himanta Bishwa Sharma tweeted in this regard: ‘The rape and murder of two tribal minor girls in Kokrajhar have been solved. The IGP of BTR had called Mok to inform him about the outcome of the investigation. I went to their house on Sunday. We are very pleased to have identified the culprits. ”

The bodies of two 14-year-old and 16-year-old girls were found hanging from a tree in Abhayakhunti on June 13. On June 14, the Chief Minister went to Kokrajhar and visited his family.
After this, a quick investigation revealed that the police had arrested 7 people in connection with the incident.
